Leïla Thomas

Research and Documentation Officer

Leïla Thomas began her education in Geneva with a Bachelor's degree in Art History and English Language and Literature and a Master's degree in Art History. She continued her studies in Paris with a semester at the Sorbonne University Paris IV and an internship at the Cabinet Jean Bonna des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

After graduating, she was assigned to teach at the University of Geneva for two semesters. Winner of the Arditi Prize and the Richterich Prize, she is currently preparing a doctoral thesis on the notion of disegno and on the graphic practice of the Italian artist Francesco Sal-viati.

Leïla joins the Simon Studer Art team in 2021 and is in charge of provenance research and documentation.
